Greg Sephens

Greg brings to clients 25 years of experience in the assessment, development, marketing and sales of value-added nutritional and medical food products gained at Abbot Nutrition (Abbott Laboratories) where he developed global nutrition strategies for disease-specific growth platforms and managed business development for Abbott's adult nutrition portfolio. Greg also served in senior management positions at the Natural Marketing Institute, Nature Inc. and the Marriott Corporation (Healthcare Division).

His consulting clients include Fortune 500 consumer packaged goods companies, dietary supplement companies, suppliers of bioactive ingredients and a wide variety of start-ups. Past clients include PepsiCo, Dr. Pepper Snapple Group, Schwabe North America (Nature’s Way, Integrative Therapeutics), Battelle Institute, Bayer, Solae, DuPont, Kemin Health and Stratum Nutrition.

Greg received a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Nutrition from Georgia State University to become a Registered Dietitian and a Master's of Science in Health Services Administration from Central Michigan University.

As a member of the Nutraceutical World Editorial Advisory Board, Greg is also the contributing editor for its Business Insights column.

He has authored and conducted over 100 publications and seminars for US and International forums such as the American Dietic Association (FNCE), IFT, HI-Maps (India), American Association of Aging, American Healthcare Association, Natural Products Expo and Supply Side.
